The Helsinki chair is built with luxurious leather-facing panels with strong vinyl on the back to protect against scratches and scruffs. The side and rear panels are furnished in faux leather, which is very soft to touch but also extremely durable and easy to clean. Equipped with deeply padded seats, backrest and armrests, this chair offers an excellent mix of elegance and comfort.
The tilt tension allows you to control the seat and back tilt resistance while the built-in tilt lock and adjustable seat height (490 - 590 mm) let you fix it to your own preferences. The Helsinki executive chair is supplied with safety castors which block the free-rolling movement when you stand up to prevent the risk of the chair rolling away accidentally.

VERY POOR QUALITY - They don'teven sit straight!
We bought two of these chairs for our office. We have started using them now so are unable to return them. We wish we hadn't have bought them!! The don't even sit straight, they are tilt to one side which is very annoying... and probably quite bad for our backs!!! They don't go down very low either, a much higher position than a normal office chair of this type. I alos have my doubts about the leather!?!? Soke sort of made-made type leather, that are allowed to call leather, if you know what I mean, as it has a certain percentage of leather in the 'mix'! The aluminium looking parts of the chair are plastic painted silver!!! Best advice I could give you with office seating is 'try before you buy' !!!

Comfy but didn't last long
Unlike the two other reviewers, I actually liked my one. Found it very comfortable & would have given it 5 stars had it not irrepairably broken after about 18 months. I'm not a big chap so havent put it under undue strain, but the back came apart from the main seat due to something breaking inside. I was coming on here to order another one, was prepared to put it down to a one-off that probably wouldn't happen again. But after the other reviews I might now go for something else!

Awful
this chair arrived with the back hanging off it - very flimsily attached with one bent nail the only visible attempt to secure it. Viking were not interested in the poor workmanship, although happy to accept the return. I won't purchase from Viking again because of their apathy

Terrible Chair
Bought this chair for a GP as it looked strong, comfortable unfortunately this wasn't the case. he already suffers from a bad back. this aggravated it more. the chair tilts forward and despite what you try to do it just doesn't sit straight. Rang the suppliers about this and was told that it cant be returned as that's how it is built!
